The urban park of San Lussorio in Selargius is a small green area, about 3 and a half hectares, that surrounds the ancient Romanesque church of San Lussorio. Opened in October 2013, it is characterized by large well-kept and guarded green lawns, gravel and gravel paths, some plants such as palm trees, pines, evergreen shrubs and flowers of various kinds. Near the entrance there is also a dog area equipped and frequented by residents. Recommended all year for light running and walking, I do not recommend going there in the summer due to the little shade currently available and for many mosquitoes in late hours. Recently, new plants have been added along the paths to create a future shade, an excellent investment for the park. Adjacent to the park, on the south side, there is the present Romanesque church of San Lussorio di Cerargio, the Gremio di San Lussorio and the archaeological remains of the ancient church. Bordering the park on the south side, next to the church, there are areas dedicated to sustainable agriculture and the park's own nursery. The green area is surrounded on the east side for a good part of its perimeter by the marshes of Paluna, called Paulis di Selargius, here is explained why the mosquitoes after sunset become a problem.
