Last week, Season 5 was released and this name appeared again in the second episode. Those who did not watch the episode can now go and watch it, because in this video I will go into a lot of detail; I would like to warn those who are sensitive about spoilers and surprises. Of course, there may be people who do not want to watch. I will also give a brief summary for them. My goal is to make the most of that time for those who spend time watching this video. Already one of the main ideas of this part of the series. We spend our time watching something, but we can't see what we're looking at. We listen, but we can't hear. We're wasting our lives.
You know what's ironic? It was the most disliked episode of most foreign film and television critics. They found it very shallow. However, when I read their criticism, I saw that they could not understand the previous messages given in this section. So they became the critics of the thing that criticises them.
Anyway ... without inducing more curiosity, let me give you a brief summary of the chapter's topic.
Christopher, in short, Chris, our chief character is a driver with the help of an Uber-like practice. We see him in a group therapy session when we try to get to know him. There's a mother who says her daughter committed suicide 18 months ago. When Chris gets close to this woman, he realizes that this grieving mother tries to log in to her daughter's Persona account every day in the hopes that she may figure out why her daughter committed suicide.
Here comes our first social message. Persona may be an imaginary social media platform, but almost every day we hear the news of children, young people who have committed suicide because of the things they are exposed to on real social media, even some games.
Because Persona does not give the mother her daughter's password, every day, the mother tries to get in by trying 3 passwords that come to her mind.
This is our side topic. The real story is about another social media company: Smithereen. Chris runs a cab near this company almost every day. One day, he takes Jaden, who works in that company, into his car and kidnaps this person who tries to go to the airport with a gun because he thinks he's one of the top executives of the social media company. But when he finds out that he's just an intern, he gets angry, puts a bag on Jaden's head, transfers him to a new car and drives off to an unknown location. On the way, he is followed by suspicious police, who stops him in the middle of a field after a short chase.
So what's up with Chris? Why did he attempt such a kidnapping? To talk to Billy Bauer. Billy Bauer, the founder and president of the social media company Smithereen where the person who Chris kidnapped started to work. That's all he wanted! To reach Billy Bauer.
